Abstract
Data on the breeding biology of the Barn Owl (Tyto alba) in Córdoba, is presented in this paper. The study was conducted from February 1984 to July 1985. Partial observations were realized during 1981, 1982, and 1983. Data on 7 nests were collected. Nest sites included old buildings, except one case in which the nest was located on a palm crown. The X laying interval was between 1 and 3 days. X clutch size was 3.7, X incubation period 32.7 days, and X nesting period 64 days. Overall hatching success was 92.3% , and 50% of the chiks fledged.
