Abstract

Taxonomic studies about forty-four species of Tyrannidae are presented in this paper. All specimens were collected by William H. Partridge in Corrientes between 1960-1962 and they are kept in the Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales. For species Suiri suiriri suiriri, Elaenia albiceps chilensis, E. parvirostris, E. mesoleuca, Phylloscartes v. ventralis, Tolmomyias s. sulphurescens, Myiophobus fasciatus flammiceps, Sublegatus modestus brevirostris, Xolmis dominicana, Fluvicola pica albiventer and Alectrurus rixora, collecting localities are given for the first time. The presence in that Province for the rest of the species analyzed here is ratified, and new localities for these are given.
