Abstract
A new breeding colony of Eudyptes crestatus was described and censed during six breeding seasons. This Rockhopper penguin colony is located 35 km from Puerto Deseado (Santa Cruz, Argentina). Data presented in tllÍs paper show a clear population increase in the number of breeding adults (27% annual). Hypotheses are presented to explain some annual variation observed.
