Abstract
A report from the easternmost Buenos Aires province, Argentina, based on observations during the months of November–February, 1958–1962. The 27 species observed are listed and the approximate number of specimens given. Of special interest is the abundant occurrence of the Golden Plover and the Hudsonian Godwit, which shows that these species have not decreased in number since Alexander Wetmore published his report in 1927.
These species seem to be in no danger, while the Upland Plover ought to be regarded in the risk zone, because of its poor presence. The occurrence of the Whimbrel, the Dowitcher, the relative abundance of the Black-bellied Plover and the Ruddy Turnstone, of the Parasitic Jaeger and several terns, is also interesting.
